Colleen: Congratulations! I recall where I was when the ‘war measures act’ was proclaimed; when the Kent State students were shot; when the Jays played their initial MLB game in the cool rainy spring day and so on. Beyond these comforts, I enjoyed the story’s structure, of entangling the two protagonists' narratives over the the 15 year timeline. This technique fulfilled ‘the clock is ticking’ promise admirably!
